Soil pH Levels:

Lawns and plants need the correct pH for optimum growth. When you know the pH level of your soil (Acidic, Neutral or Alkaline), you can select plants which thrive best in your particular planting area or you can add proper amendments to change the pH of your soil. Inexpesnive soil test kits are widely available in home & garden centers.

• Acidic = 3.5 to 6.5
• Neutral = 7
• Alkaline = 7.5 to 9.0
